Big Bags with discharging spouts can be opened or closed if required which makes them suitable for dispensing gravel, seeds or powder.
Double discharging spout
Big Bags are normally exposed to very high loads. A double discharging spout protects the transport sacks from tearing open due to recurring friction and the resulting wear. Big Bags with double discharging spouts can dispense their contents more precisely than Big Bags with one discharging spout, as they are equipped with two closure bars. This prevents too much feedstuff being dispensed.
Star-shaped/fully opening base
Big Bags with star-shaped base can be fully opened. They are used particularly in locations where the transport sacks need to be emptied very quickly. This means that Big Bags containing bulky goods, such as logs, can be emptied more easily and quickly.

The skirt makes filling the Big Bag with dry dusty bulk goods easier; granular or finely powdered material can be dispensed via the re-closable discharging spout. FIBCs are also available with a filling and discharging spout, for example. They can therefore be quickly filled and easily emptied.
Metered discharge is possible with the B-Lock closure. The discharging spout is also secured by a special fixture that allows the Big Bag to be closed again.
Open at top, closed at bottom
Big Bags that are open at the top and closed at the bottom can often be found on construction sites. This is because they are very suitable for storing and transporting course bulk goods. Furthermore, they are often used as provisional storage for garden waste.
Open at the top, discharge spout at the bottom
These FIBCs are quick to fill, due to the large opening at the top. The discharging spout enables metered dispensing of the contents. These kind of Big Bags are useful when laying paths made of gravel or broken stones for example, in order to distribute the content evenly.
Skirt at top, closed at bottom
Can be quickly filled through large opening. The opening is also large enough to remove the content with a shovel. The skirt with tie cord also prevents dust-laden bulk goods such as sand, for example, from being carried away by the wind.

With these Big Bags, finely powdered materials, such as individual ingredients (flour, salt, sugar, cocoa, etc.) can be rapidly filled and emptied in stages during food production. As the skirt can be closed, the ingredients in the Big Bag are protected against contamination from the outside.
